In last Friday's episode of #MakeFitHappen, on "EASY FITNESS & MOBILITY EXERCISES", Coach Jervin taught us some easy exercise routines we can do at home, with no required equipments, and even at limited space! Since we have some restrictions with group exercises or gym activities, this would be a great alternative.
The whole routine took around 30 minutes, that involved full body workout of mixture of cardio, endurance, and even some yoga exercises, which makes the routine complete quick workout. Please bear in mind to be aware and conscious of your current physical condition, underlying medical condition and consult your physician before doing exercise routines, so as not over-exert yourself, and cause injuiries. SAFETY FIRST!
The session started with some stretching exercises to warm up your body, bones, muscles and joints before doing some physical activity. Stretching is important because it conditions your body, so you don't pull any muscles during the course of the routine. Also, important to keep a good posture while doing the routines.
For the main exercise, we begin the intervals at 50 and reducing to by intervals of 10 for every routine that follows. Observe your body, you may reduce the counts to the level that your body can endure. We repeated the whole routine starting in reverse order starting counts of 10 and progressing upwards to 50. Please don;t forget to HYDRATE! As you swet during your exrecise routine, you lose water, and not replenishing liquids with water, fruit juices or a prower drink
After the main exercise, we cool down with some yoga poses to allow your body to return to a balancesd state of physical activity and rest. The yoga poses also allow you to compose your self, your breathing and relax after the strenuous workout.
The 30-minute routine proves that staying healthy doesn't have to be time-consuming or expensive. According to most expert recommendations, a minimum of 30 minutes daily exercise is what your body need to keep healthy. Regular exercise give your body more flexibility, gets your heart and blood pumping, your breathing moderated.
Exercise also helps your body release endorphines or "happy hormones" that keeps your mind positive, happy and energized to face any challenges during the day. So get those body moving!
